The G.I.R.L.s of Troop 40237 of St. Anastasia Catholic School in Fort Pierce took part in the council-wide service project “Cozy Feets & Covered Seats” and donated items to Hope’s Closet! Their donation included 20 pairs of shoes, 80 pairs of underwear, 120 pairs of socks, four packages of diapers, two bags of wipes and two bags of clothes.
Hope’s Closet 4 Children provides Treasure Coast families with gently-used clothing for all children up to age 17. The Closet was created to help assist children who are disadvantaged due to poverty or homelessness. Here, they are able to shop for free in a boutique-style setting.
GSSEF troops are encouraged to participate in this council-wide service project which helps provide clothing to those in need. Service units, troops and individual girls are asked to collect everything from from newborn diapers to socks and clothes for all ages.
