‘Tis the season for family, friends and spreading holiday spirit! Junior Troop 20696 from the Sunchariot Service Unit recently visited Brookdale Senior Living in Boynton Beach last weekend to sing carols for the residents. These Go-Getters brought cheer to the residents with Christmas and Hanukkah songs.

Speaking of celebrating the reason for the season, the Leaders of Troop 10514 held their ninth annual service project through Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child back in October to benefit children and teens during Christmas. Other Girl Scouts joined them, making attendance 200 girls in total.

Each girl brought a filled shoebox with items like school supplies, hygiene items, stuffed animals and anything they think a boy or girl between ages 10-14 would enjoy. In addition to preparing the boxes for their delivery, they also made cards and crafts to along with them.
